The content seemed ok..I only got to read one page, when I clicked on any other link an ad would pop up for discounted travel. It was unavoidable so I deleted the app within 5 mins of downloading

It’s not the info I don’t like it’s the fact it’s listed as free when clearly if you have to pay to learn anything above something you could just google

In the free version you only get the introduction and life of Buddha both of which contain general information you could find ANYWHERE. Doing a quick google search will save you time and a headache. On top of that while you are trying to read in the app, a prompt will pop up automatically multiple times to ask you to pay for the full version. It’s just as annoying as an actual ad and makes it almost impossible to read what little information that is available in the free version.

Apps take a lot of time and resources to create so we understand having to pay a little fee, however, do not mislead us into thinking that we are actually getting something by downloading the app for free. I am happy to have all of this information in one place it is a nice resource.

I had this app a few months ago, and it was hard to use and confusing, so, even though the content was good, I deleted it. With the new update however, it’s designed very well and is very easy to use. It has good content for people who are new to Buddhism, and even though you have to pay to get more in depth, it’s only three dollars, and its very useful to have all of this content at your fingertips, and not having to search through countless wikipedia pages trying to make sense of everything (which I tried before discovering this app). Buddhism is a huge topic to discuss and learn about via the internet, and this app puts everything in an easily accessible location. Great!

I want to become a Buddhist, and this app is one of the worst reference apps I’ve ever downloaded. It’s not worth your time at all.

You literally have to pay for anything you want to learn on the app. Disgrace to Buddhism

In app purchases!! I was excited to learn more but all you get is an introduction that is very brief. More and better information on a Wikipedia page on the subject. Nice layout but don’t nickel and dime for sub shallow content and not enough substance to even get me excited to make a purchase. No value!! Try again. 👎

It states it's a free app but to access anything, you have to pay. I don't mind paying to have access to more content, but this is definitely not a free app unless you just enjoy looking at the home screen.
