Bunpo: Learn Japanese

So far so good. I haven’t been able to use it a lot but so far what I’ve been using it’s really good for selflearning. I’m trying to learn japanese by my own and this app is pretty useful, I can study the language on a train on my way home or at home making notes with the help of the app. I would recommend it’s handy🥸

OMG I love this app!! I’ve always thought that Japanese is the hardest language for me to learn but this app just makes it much easier than it looks!! XD

It’s a great app, I’ll admit! It gives you a lot of lessons to do and how to learn the alphabet for some languages. You even get to text with AI to improve your texting skills in the language you choose, and I chose Japanese to learn me. It was fun overall, but the majority of lessons require you to pay! It’s really expensive for me and I won’t really fully commit to learning on this app just for Japanese. Even though I gave it 2 stars, the app is good it’s just you gotta pay…Every good thing always has to be paid in some ways. I’ll just stick to duolingo.

It's just not ready yet. Plain and simple. The dev team should have waited until all basic features were ready before putting this out. I bought on ipad and my progress isn't synced with other platforms. In my mind this is baseline functionality. I reached out to them about it and they admitted that this is the case. I don't think an app that isn't ready for public use should be charging as if it is. Smaller nit, it only has landscape view, which is crazy, because the content takes up like 20% of the screen max. This also makes it kind of a pain to use, and is also a pretty low hanging fruit feature imo. So yeah, until it's actually fully ready for use, 1 star.

I think learning non-binary is unnecessary and a waste of time. I wanted to work on my Spanish, not learn silly non-binary. Also it’s always a Spain Spanish. There’s never a Mexico Spanish. I will only be learning the Japanese. Will be waiting on the Mexican Spanish without the non-binary stuff. It’s already hard enough to learn a language. Let’s not make it harder with ridiculous beliefs being forced upon us. Thank you!

I’ve been on this app for a bit and it’s really nice I enjoy it and the app is similar to Duolingo but better cause it starts off with the actual basics

I don’t know if it’s true for most peoples but for me there’s no ads and I don’t think you have to pay for not having ads either, my Japanese learning experience has been going great because I’ve been able to speak while learning so I could understand how to say specific words! For me it’s a 5 star!
