HOW TO GET GOOD RECOGNITION RESULTS
1. Place the business card on a flat surface.
2. Good lighting is key: bright desk lamp or direct sunlight are necessary.
3. Hold the device right above the card. Keep the card aligned with BCR viewfinder edges and adjust iPhone/iPad positioning so that the card fits the screen size.
4. Tap the screen to take the picture.
5. After the recognition is done, you can check the results.
6. Tap Save to add the contact into your iOS address book.

BC Reader - on iPhone 4
On iPhone 4 is working well as long as you want to change to Chinese charaters. On display you can see a windows which promt you to download east asian lanuages recignizer, after "pushing" download the application hang on and stop to work. Main button double press and closing of the application is enough, but eastern leanguages can't be well scanned. :( Bad luck for me, and it looks like no update will come soon. Regarding Polish characters, I didn't try up to now - if it doesn't work is also bad luck. :(
Needs support for different countries
I purchased this business card reader from the polish app store and was expecting for it to work with polish business cards. However it only scanned and imported the name on the business card failing to recognize phone numbers and even emails. Actually rather dissapointed with the app and hope that in the future it is greatly updated. UPDATE: I just updated my Iphone software to version 4.0 and when I used the Business Card Reader to add a contact the application quit upon reaching 100% scanned. When I went into my contacts to see if the contact had saved I was shocked to see ALL OF MY CONTACTS deleted. Please help me!!!!! arghhh avoid this application like the plague....

Zgodnie z moimi oczekiwaniami, program "daje radę". Oczywiście nie jest w 100% dokładny, trzeba zawsze coś w tekście poprawić, ale taki urok narzędzi skanujących. Fajny, niekoniecznie potrzebny gadget :-)
