Concerns negated
I bought my drone during Black Friday an F7 GB2 and I didn’t get to fly it until today(2/4/24). I had downloaded the app (using an IPhone 13 Pro)back in November but after reading the reviews I was worried about it’s performance. I followed the steps on the start up video that plays when you open the app and everything worked except that I couldn’t get the GPS to link up and as a result the auto take off and landing, flight log and tracking and camera didn’t work (no pictures or videos). I soon realized that it was the app settings and that I had to shut my cell service off, which makes sense at least to me because if a call would come in I would definitely lose the drone ( I’ve lost three already not from calls I am just a lousy drone pilot). After I did that everything worked perfectly, no lag, the gps was perfect as was the return to home feature which was accurate. It also recorded all my flights and logged them and tracked my distance, flight time and height. I have to say it seems like everything has been fixed with the app. I hope this helps anyone on the fence about buying one or someone who’s having issues with theirs.
