Byways Magazine Reviews

BEAUTIFUL PICTURES

Buggy's Nana on

United States

I have found some of the most beautiful scenery in this magazine and also enjoy the articles. Often it is a so long time between issues that I often fear that the magazine is no longer published, it would be nice if the publisher would send e-mails to let us know that they are still in business and that there will actually be more issues. cojp58009

Great magazine for US travel

Susangl! on

If you want to see what is in the US, this is a great magazine! We are getting ready to tour the US in an RV, and we have highlights for areas we might not have otherwise sought out. If it came out monthly, I'd give it five stars.

Looks good on the iPhone (4s), too!

I've had a chance to look at this publication on an iPad in the past which made the pictures really 'pop!' I was pleased to see that the magazine's quality didn't diminish with the smaller screen of the iPhone. Well done and look forward to future issues of Byways!

Interesting read! Great locations!

Byways has gorgeous photos and such a wide variety of interesting destinations featured, I always learn something new in each issue. I love the pan/zoom feature for pictures as well as the seamless video viewing! Keep em coming!

Enjoy the tour

This is a great app for all of us armchair travelers or for someone planning their next trip. The slide shows and videos bring the pages alive. Well done and very enjoyable.

Great Magazine App!

Afred11 on

It's rewarding to read a magazine with stunning picture slide shows and videos embedded directly into the overall experience. This is the first magazine app I've read where the supporting content really POPS by rotating the iPad to landscape. The author does a nice job featuring informative articles about various destinations and live links to interesting advertisers. Nice job Bywaysapp - keep up the good work.

Excellent!

Tanoka noka on

This app shows what is possible on the iPad for a small publication like this. The articles are unique stories of off the beaten path Americana. State park diamond picking in the US! I had no idea.( Feb 2012 issue). Great value - 6 months subscription - 3 issues for 99¢

Don't waste your money

Midman2000 on

United States

Navigation is very poor. Magazine starts with page after page after page of advertisements. No way to avoid hem - must scroll through them to get to the table of contents and articles. I've not been able to determine how to cancel auto-renew - if it's there it's VERY well hidden. One of the worst apps I've experienced - and I have hundreds of apps on my iPad.
