Description
Probably the nerdiest camera app ever made, ca-mera uses a cellular automaton to interpret the brightness values of your camera stream. The resulting images are black/white and pixelated, and contain unique patterns created by the cellular automaton (Wolfram rule 126).
This app provides a "selfie" mode, and lets you change the appearance of the pictures by controlling the automaton application direction, the resolution, the input brightness, and the input fidelity (i.e. to which extent the cellular automaton is allowed to run freely).
Furthermore, features from the more advanced ca-mera+ app can be unlocked inside ca-mera by tapping the "+" button and watching our handcrafted ads.

Wow. A real different magical feeling.
Terrific
Awesome effect, simple to use and no feature bloat. What an app should be. Only thing that would make it better would be option to record video.
Abstract, not nerdy
Works perfectly, even on an old iPad 4. You can play with things like Wolfram rules using the jitter component of max/map/jitter, but jitter doesn't exist in iOS. If you enjoy any aspect of art, get ca-mera. iOS needs brilliant apps like this Mr. Menzer. More please.

Half the stuff comes out so bad. Most filter don’t do anything
Doesn’t work
The screen were the picture is suppose to be is all black. Tried pressing the “?” And did I everything it said to do, but nothing changed. Will update this review in a week if anything is fixed.
