This application is for Quebec residents.
Do you know how and where to get rid of products you don’t use?
Ça va où? quickly answers your questions and helps you sort your products and materials, whether they belong in an ecocentre, a drop-off site, the recycling bin, the organic waste bin, a special collection or even the trash bin.
The application lets you :
● Easily find where and how to get rid of different products and materials you do not want or need according to your municipality and geolocalized position, like : batteries, light bulbs, metals, plastics, clothing, organic matter, bulky items, electronic products, etc.
● Quickly display ecocentres and drop-off sites in Quebec with an interactive geolocalized map.
● Display the contact information for ecocentres and drop-off sites closest to you.
● Get sorting advice for different products.
You can find information about the reuse and recycling of over 1000 types of products sold in Quebec.
Recycling in Quebec
Almost ¾ of Quebecers sort their waste, though more than half admit not always being sure if they put the right product in the right bin. We want to help people who want to better recycle but don’t always have the right information. Municipalities offer many ecocentres and drop-off sites and with the Ça va où? app, it’ll be easier for you to find them.
Notes about access requests :
The application uses geolocalization technology.
This access is necessary in order to find the closest drop-off points for each user.
When you open the app, it will ask you your default municipality in order to display the correct municipal service information (ecocentres, different collections, etc.) for your area of residence.
The Ça va où? app now offers a game to practice your sorting instincts! Play and try to win all the badges!

Ne fonctionne pas sur IOS 18,2
L’application reste coincée sur les 4 pages décrivant le fonctionnement. Aucune façon de sortir de la boucle initiale et d’afficher le contenu réel de l’application. Ce n’est pas de cette façon que notre bon gouvernement Québécois gagnera des adeptes du recyclage !!! Comme toutes les applications venant des sociétés d’état, très décevant.
Pratique, mais ne s’ouvre plus
L’application ne s’ouvre plus. J’ai un iPhone 13, mise à jour 17.6.1. J’ai toujours adoré cette application. Elle est très pratique et permet de trouver les meilleures options pour nos déchets.
Lacks info for Outaouais
Despite location services being on, I only get a general text about the item I want to get rid of without a specific place to bring it in my area. Very frustrating as the App is supposed to be Quebec-wide.

Une application très utile. Suggestion: Vs. devrez avoir un recyclage pour des vêtements et souliers usagés. J’en suis sûr que ces articles peuvent être recyclés. Il faut trouvez des innovations lesquels peuvent démunir les déchets. Merci

A very helpful app!
Positives: Geolocation down to the Montreal borough where I live; fully bilingual; good search engine; photos of most of the products, making it so much easier to be sure you’re doing the right thing; useful articles on composting and recycling. Negatives: Like virtually all apps they may have technical issues now and then, but I’ve found them very responsive when I’ve reported a problem. All in all, I’m very pleased with this app and refer to it often.
