Great potential but limited languages
This app would be a fantastic addition to use in our hospital, however the languages available are not beneficial for our demographics. Would love to see Farsi, Burmese and Nepali.

CALD Assist is the simple and dynamic way for clinicians to communicate with patients from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) backgrounds when an interpreter is not available.
Featuring phrases commonly used during basic care interactions and screening assessments translated and recorded in 11 languages, CALD Assist facilitates basic care interactions to support patient care.

Over 250 phrases translated and audio recorded with cultural sensitivity
Images and video to enhance communication between clinicians and their patients
Answer options to enable patients to respond to simple questions
Developed in collaboration with patients, Nursing staff, Allied Health clinicians, Medical staff and Interpreters

thankyou for writing. can we please have these translated into kurdish-kumanji As these refugees are our newest and we could use the Audio button as many do not read. also, can we have some childrens phrases eg with children we do not talk talk about “bowel motion” but we simply say “poo”. and for the babies its not just “do you want a drink” but “ is the baby thirsty” or “does the baby want a bottle/drink/milk”. please keepwriting. looks great. thankyou, Catherine Paediatrician Armidale NSW Australia
