CalenDraw FAQ
Is CalenDraw free?
Yes, CalenDraw is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is CalenDraw legit?
🤔 The CalenDraw app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Love the look of it, love how easy it is to navigate. Love love love that I can set up different journals. Very impressed that it syncs seamlessly with my calendar’s.
Not that keen on the reminders and tasks showing up on the calendar - would rather that was just for appointments - but I can live with that.
My only complaint is the glitching & closing itself down. That is very frustrating.
Most useful app I have
This app is so good because it is exactly what I was after for organising my schedule because it keeps a list and the calendar on the same app which are my priorities. I don’t like how with other calendar apps, you have to do fiddly stuff like choosing a date and time and place for every event you make. I like how with this app, you have the option to do that but if you don’t use that feature, you can still make notes for any day. I also love how if you scroll down on a day you can write things in a time slot and it will notify you at the time you have written in what you want to be reminded! I find this so helpful for studying or homework in the afternoon to set myself deadlines.
The on,y reason this app isn’t 5 stars is because I’d appreciate being able to use the week feature and create journals on this app and also because I think there’s a bug:
I’m not sure if it’s only my app that does this or not but when you scroll from month to month in the calendar it lags a lot and I often need to reset the app. It would be much appreciated if this bug could be fixed because I love this app so much!
Larger text
I have just bought this app and love to be able to quickly draw on it. I would like to be able to have a much larger font when creating an event though. Am I missing something??
Everything you could want
This app offers so many great features and is so easy to use 10/10 would recommend
Almost exactly what I’ve been looking for, but sadly buggy
I’ve been looking for an app like this for at least 2 years, so I was super excited to find it, but it has a couple of bugs that makes it almost unusable for me.
- writing with Apple Pencil in the to do list is really patchy. It often doesn’t register the first stroke, and then kind of skips strokes frequently. Also if you go out of the bounds of the line (ie writing a y or g or whatever, it breaks the line and doesn’t continue the stroke until you lift the pen up and start a new stroke. So you end up with half written words.
- when you tick off a to do list item the handwritten text disappears. The line is visible in the completed tasks, but what you wrote is missing. It’s visible in a pop up box when you click on the item though.
I tried updating the OS and also toggling dark/light mode, but neither of those solved the issues.
I’ll happy revise my review if those issues get resolved though!
The calendar disappears when you work
I move it back a month or two and the calendar disappears off my screen, very annoying.
Better than I expected
This is surprisingly good, honestly I was just expecting to get an app that wouldn’t let you do anything without paying and have tones of adds. But instead I found this highly organised, perfect app which I’m now using for homework and studying planning. I highly recommend.
One-of-a-kind calendar app for handwriting
This is the best handwritten calendar app I ever used.
All-day event canvas, timeline appointment canvas and to-do lists – they’re there to keep me productive.
Love this App!
Great to use and has options for use of finger for writing or typing.
So close
Exactly what I’m looking for but constantly is freezing and acting buggy. MAINLY, Keyboard gets stuck and the pencil will randomly stop drawing. Pencil stops for me when coloring something in or moving across a number of dates on the month view. Huge disappointment if this stuff isn’t fixed eventually.
