I’ve played this game daily and found that the secret to be successful is simple - spend lots of cash! This way I collect all of the five-star heroes and quickly advance them to high levels. Whaaaat? You mean you don’t wish to spend much money playing Antia? Well, good luck,then! The five-star heroes are very difficult draws, on an F2P basis perhaps one-per-month. And the common two and three-star heroes just can’t perform against their premium counterparts. And once you finally receive a mythic-hero you want to quickly level it, right? Well, that’s easy as well, just be sure to purchase lots of extra energy. Because you see, well, otherwise you are limited in the number of battles you can perform. Limited grinding = limited advancement. So no, I am not a fan of this game. I played it daily for six months waiting to advance enough for it to become enjoyable. I never got there; I’ve since deleted it. For a fun Match-3 battle game that can be played with limited or no cash purchases, I recommend Gems of War.

I’m a little late to the party but I’m enjoying this Match 3 RPG. Coming from E&P I can honestly say this game is doing it right. Rewards are nice, and unlike E&P you can progress without feel like its P2W. I don’t mind supporting a good game but if you can’t afford too, this game is totally playable without spending a dime. There is plenty of things to do and unique heroes to collect to create good synergy teams. Graphics and animation style are also top notch. I rarely play any game with sound but it seems like the developers didn’t skimp there either.

Hello dear reader, Like yourself, I have spent hours surfing through games and looking at reviews, hoping to find a halfway decent mobile game. About 1.5yr ago I thought I had found one with CoA, I knew it was a p2w, but it seemed like it was playable without $$$. At first it was, but after changing developers to Funplus (what a joke) it rapidly became pay to play. Over the past year each update has just been new cash grab systems, new overpowered heroes every 2 weeks, and the player base is ignored. New content is promised, but has not happened in months or really in the last year. Bugs are rampant, and any ticket to support is ignored with a dismissive “the problem is on your end” message. 5 star heroes are a requirement to play competitively, and each one will cost you an average of $170 US. But to get a specific hero, from the banner, you will often spend upwards of $250 because you are not guaranteed that hero. Then you must get 5 copies to fully “awaken” it, which is also a must for top game play. So often you will spend $1000+ just to get full access to the hero’s abilities. Then you need to talent the hero, a process that will likely cost you another $500 to do it fully. So for top whales, you are spending $1500+ per 2 weeks just for the new hero, not to mention weapons, events, and other things. For players who want to be competitive but not full whale, you will still need to spend around $300 a week, or $700 every 2 weeks, and you definitely wont compete with the big boys. If you are familiar with or even enjoy pay to win or pay to play games, this should give you a rough idea if this is worth it to you, but for 99% of people i would strongly advise not playing games that require you to pay. I have regretted almost every dollar I spent, and I spent more than a few. We all know these companies use wildly predatory tactics to make you spend more than you want to. The community at the top is solid, I have had the privilege of playing with and against some of the nicest and smartest people in the world. But we are all victims of this awful company and their once fun, now terrible game. The moderators have mostly quit discord, the top players have mostly quit the game, new players are not sent to old worlds, and newer worlds cannot face old worlds in the wars. So we face the same alliances over and over, and every week more people quit the game, so there are fewer familiar faces at the table. I have joined new worlds to see what they are doing,

The game is good at low and mid point. But it is heavily pay to win and not much to do once you finish the campaign. The events repeat and always target the bi-weekly new characters. There are better gacha games. Stay away from this one.

I thoroughly enjoyed playing this game, but I worked up to level 40 in two separate events in hopes to gain a high-level character. Making purchases as well. I did not receive two characters now from reaching level 40 in special events in this game. The company does not honor your responses and will not refund your money for errors. I started a alliance and have many players in them to encourage them to play the game but I’m probably going to leave.

Just needs the music fixed. You can tell the Devs put a lot of sweat and tears into this <3

Unfortunately, this game will only be fun if you can afford to spend thousands of dollars a month. It is definitely rigged for those players who can Spend literally a $100 a week or more. Otherwise you will never move up or be able to compete and truly enjoy the game. Unless you spend the $100 at least every week, it is impossible to get any hero worthy to compete. Been playing for over 6 months and I’m finally giving up. There is no motivation to keep playing since I keep getting the same week heros, which cannot compete with others who spend thousands. You also cannot move up in any campaigns without stronger heros. I have watched so many people just drop out and I have seen how some have spent literally thousands of dollars. It’s insane. This company must be making millions. Their customer service is terrible, in fact I don’t think they even exist. They never respond to any issue. It’s a joke. Chances are I will be deleting soon, because although it was enjoyable and addicting it’s not anymore. There is also a person who tears apart teams to steal the best players for his team. Definitely a game only for people who can and are willing to Spend $1,000 of dollars.

Nice game with potential but need $$$$$ to be competitive

This game is very beautiful and fun at low levels, but as you progress it becomes oppressive. To get the resources you need to keep playing at a high level you have to dish out A LOT of money. There are also game mechanics that are completely broken. And whales that spend $1,000s of dollars are allowed to just crush everyone else to get the best rewards so you can’t ever really progress. This game has so much potential but the first priority of the devs is to squeeze money out of its player base, not to make a really enjoyable game experience. Side note: I read a bunch of those 5 star reviews. Pretty sure those are not real people as they all read like an advertisement and not words real people use. Don’t believe me? Mobile games have always been about making money off players but this one doesn’t even try to hide it anymore. Everything they add to the game is so blatantly pay yo win it’s disgusting
