Call Ranger: Mass Call Blocker

Well, i have tried entering numbers many different ways and it just does not block anything. If anyone as ideas, share them

Can’t even get past the first screen. There’s no option to use the app as a call blocker in iOS settings.

It seemed to work for a while, and now I have started getting calls from numbers that are in my block range with +1 or -1 total digits and trying to add block rules for the new number formats says that my block rule can’t be added because it’s in a subset of another rule.

I was getting lots of spam calls from numbers with the same first 3 digits of my own, and it took seconds to set up a rule that blocked them all. My incoming calls are peaceful again! The only problem is that my husband’s number was also in that range, and it was blocked for calls and FaceTime even though “allow calls from my contact list” was turned on and he was certainly in my contacts list.

I hit a small speed bump on initial setup on iPhone - sent query to the developer and he responded very quickly (<12 hrs) with the procedure needed to get me installed. I also wanted to confirm my proposed approach for dealing with problem calls I receive. Again, the developer responded very quickly (<4 hrs) with the correction needed to achieve my objectives. However, “blocking” calls means it prevents them from activating your phone’s ringer. The calls still go to your voice mailbox and the spammer usually leaves a recorded message. That is what happens in Canada. You will still have to clear the vioice messages.

Do you not purchase this app I recently downloaded it and I was very very disappointed it drained my battery off of my phone completely a phone that I had sitting at 100% now can’t hold a charge because of this app it is not worth it unless the developer plans on getting me a new battery for my iPhone this is not an app to buy it will drain your battery completely watch what you do with this app because it’s not worth it do not get this app.

This was the only app I could find that allowed me to block entire area codes. I was getting calls from foreign countries that rang once and hung up. They would call over and over again at all times of the day or night. This app silenced them finally. Thank you so much!!!

WELL! I paid for this service yet I still get a call EVERY TWO MINUTES FROM CONGO! So as far as I am concerned this app is a waste of money. If I have to manually block every damn number that calls from some third world country then what’s the point?!!!!! Every phone on the planet already has that ability.....FREE OF CHARGE I just want to block the entire country. As CLEARLY. The robo calls have a ZILLION numbers in which to call from.
