Call Ranger: Bloquea spam call

Hello, your app is great! Spam calls used to disturb my meetings and finally I was able to block them without having to go number by number. I can block the automated calls that originate from the same spammer, but also has a great option to notify of a spam call and leave you the option to take the call or not. Thanks!

app doesn’t work to block calls from specific countries

I get at least 20 Spam texts a day so I paid for it and downloaded the app. I took a long time to enter all the phone numbers, starting with country, area code, and the first of the four remaining numbers. Still those calls are coming through. I restarted and yet still doesn’t work. Very disappointing and I want my money back I’m going to delete the app. Also when I went to the link to send feedback or to get support it didn’t open anything.

I will admit I was a bit skeptical after seeing some of the reviews and to most of them, it’s what we call an ID-10t issue (Google it). ;) All I can say is that I used to get scam calls every single night from the same area code and prefix just with a different last 4, and those calls have completely stopped with this app. I’m a believer.

Wanted to block certain area codes. I put 1 in there the area code followed by the number. Then I picked 256XXXXXXX, after it updated I still get calls from 256 area code. It does not work waste of money. Maybe I did it wrong but I wanted to block specific area codes from calling me.

It doesn’t work! I get a lot of spam calls from 423 area code and have attempted to block all calls from this area code but they are still coming through

Call Ranger for IOS works great and allows wildcards to block any combination of phone numbers, including up to 5 complete area codes. Unfortunately, blocking is for PHONE CALLS only, the app does not block text messages. If SPAMMERS are SPOOFING their CALLER ID NUMBERS and you want to block calls from a large range(s) of numbers, this is the app you need. Call Ranger provides a refreshing online experience. Questions sent via email are answered quickly and respectfully. In sum… A good product, a very fair one-time price, and the customer service is fantastic.

I didn’t “get it” at first, in terms of exactly how to setup a blocked-number list. But I reached out to the author and he helped me out immediately. It’s all setup now and appears to be working great. Thanks so much for helping me get rid of some annoying calls !

Installed yesterday and am still receiving calls from 233 country code despite blocking the entire 100 million phone numbers in that range. Guess I expected too much.
