Von Juni bis November 2021 wird in Meran ein neues Angebot der öffentlichen Mobilität im Pilotbetrieb getestet. Der elektrisch betriebene „Callbus“ verbindet Obermais mit Untermais und dem Zentrum. Der On-Demand-Bus kann von Montag bis Freitag von 8:00 bis 12:00 Uhr und von 16:00 bis 19:00 (am Samstag bis 22:00) über diese App oder telefonisch gebucht werden. Angefahren werden alle gekennzeichneten Pick-Up-Points. Die Fahrt im Bus ist gratis. Dieses Pilotprojekt wird finanziert durch das Interreg Italien-Schweiz Projekt MENTOR.
