Have you ever wondered “who is that actor?”, or perhaps “when was this movie released?”, or “what was the title of that one episode of that show I love”? Maybe you're a film aficionado, and wonder “how old was this person when this movie was released”?
Have you wanted to answer those questions *without* being prompted to log in every five seconds? Without advertisements, and without auto-playing videos? Without relying on a multinational conglomerate that is trying to sell you things?
You'll love Callsheet.
Callsheet is the best way to quickly look up information about the cast and crew in TV and movies. It respects your time, doesn't try to sell you stuff you don't need, and is designed to answer your questions quickly and easily.
Callsheet also has some novel features that your previous favorite database app does not:
• Prevent spoilers when watching TV shows by optionally hiding character names, episode counts, episode titles, or episode thumbnails.
Don't let yourself get spoiled on a character's secret identity, or that they'll leave the show quickly, by hiding those hints.
• Quick access to trivia, Wikipedia, parental guidance, and where to watch (provided by JustWatch).
• Pin shows, movies, or people for quick access.
• Find things you've searched for before using recent searches and search history.
• Easily see the age of cast members *when a film was released* right inline with the cast list
• Easily see the age of a person for each entry in their filmography
• Easily see the height of actors (when possible)
• Dark mode support
• VoiceOver support
• Alternate app icons for subscribers
• Automatic, no-login integration with the wonderful Channels app
• Experimental, no-login integration with Plex
Callsheet is written by one person, who REALLY cares about respecting your time. Callsheet is designed to let you drop in, find what you need with no fuss, and then get back to the movie or show you really care about. No distractions, and no requests to log in.
Callsheet offers 20 searches for free, and then requires a subscription. Subscriptions all come with a 1-week free trial. They support Family Sharing.
Give Callsheet a try. You won't believe how much better it is than the app you were using before.

Callsheet FAQ
Is Callsheet free?
Yes, Callsheet is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Callsheet legit?
✅ The Callsheet app appears to be high-quality and legitimate. Users are very satisfied.
Thoughtful, clear design that prioritizes the content and my curiosity. Getting more than my money’s worth just over the holidays alone — saving the frustration not just of seeing ads but *waiting* for IMDb’s site to load all its junk making each step a 5-10 second procedure.
But Callsheet’s focus on a great user experience is more than that. I thought to myself “I wish I didn’t have to navigate from an episode back to a season just to get to the next episode.” And instantly spotted the arrows to do so. Then I went to check and it turns out IMDb has arrows to navigate between episodes as well — but I’ve never noticed them, nor have I wanted to stay to browse in the first place. That’s the difference. Callsheet knows that features only matter if they’re clear, easy to find, and inviting. Thanks for making my lazy TV binge holidays even more fun. :)
Great Application
Just the information I need or frequently lookup, without all the overhead. Thanks for all your work on this app Casey.
Movie/TV info without the bloat
I tried out the app due to hearing about it on ATP, but it made it to my first page of apps because of how useful it is. It's so much easier to check Callsheet than try and decipher a page on IMDB through all the extra junk they've added to the site. If you ever use IMDB do yourself a favor and pick this up instead.
Just what I always wanted for this!
About 15 years ago you could get an “IMDB” app which was designed to make looking stuff up quicker and easier than the website. Soon, that app and their website became crapped up and packed with so many ads that it became impossible to do the only mechanic anybody wanted to do on there: click actor, see their movies and shows. Click show, see its actors.
Well, Casey Liss has brought us back to that place, with an app free from garbage ads, that offers that primary, necessary functionality front and center*! I don’t even need to “enable notifications” or “allow location access”!
Also, I appreciate the thoughtful settings provided, including being able to customize the Quick Access Link.
The pricing is great, and I’m happy to pay the cost of 1 ½ Starbucks drinks per year to never have to look at IMDB again. Thanks!

This is how I find what to watch and where to watch it
Fantastic app.
Great app
Apps like this make me love the iOS ecosystem. It does a thing. And does it well.
The developers obsession with simplicity almost ruins this app
It’s a great app, but the developers obsession with simplicity almost ruins it. The main search bar is buggy enough that it gets really frustrating. I wish they’d replace the search bar with a tab bar with home, recents, and search. It wouldn’t even require any more taps to search honestly. But it would allow a convenient way to get to home and recents. I hate having to hit the back button like 10 times just to get home. Good app but could be a GREAT app if you rethink the UX just a little.
Goodbye IMDB (finally)
Used IMDB way before the Amazon acquisition. The way that app has become less enjoyable to use has been offset by the delight of this app. Easy to navigate, cool little features, and great info - 10/10 if I could do more than 5 stars
Obviously built for people who love movies
So responsive, so delightful. Just a sample of the many niceties: it tells you the age of the actor at the time of making the show! Little details like that make this app indispensable.
This is what IMDb should’ve been.
Callsheet gives you exactly what you’re looking for instantly. Whether you’re after a movie, a show, an actor, director, or even a crew member, Callsheet delivers accurate, concise info immediately and elegantly. I wouldn’t watch anything without it right at hand. Bravo, bravo!
