Description

Finally! An app that lets you burn your calories…one food at a time. CalorieCrumble inspires and motivates by SHOWING WITH PICTURES, the amount of physical activity required to burn off a particular food item. An image of the food item and the number of calories associated with it is synced with a pedometer that is already built into your phone. As you begin to walk/move, the image of the food item will begin to crumble away as calories are burned (counted down). CalorieCrumble is geared toward the individual who finds that a picture of a food item virtually disappearing when calories are being burned is easier and more fun than following numbers and calculations.

This is an amazing calorie app for children who may have an easier time understanding the relationship between calorie consumption and exercise by looking at pictures rather than numbers. Watching a food item crumble away in real-time is a simple and fun way to burn off calories and puts into visual perspective of just what it takes to make a calorie crumble. CalorieCrumble contains 285 foods to choose from (more to be added) plus additional 50, 100, 200, 300, 400 crumbling calorie cards for any foods not available.

Holding your phone while walking may produce the best results. Phone must be close to your body if it’s put in your pocket.

Fun, simple app that motivated me to keep walking until the hot dog (my first item) disappeared. Should be great for kids too, doesn't require complex calorie counting and gives a visual indicator of progress, which is positive feedback to keep moving!
