如題。這個app無論在iPhone還是在iPad上,都只豎直顯示模式。當用戶以橫置模式使用設備的時候,切換到Cambridge plus,又要將設備打豎,很不方便。建議你們為它加入橫置顯示的模式。
I created a word list and I couldn’t save it. Then I ended up losing all of these words that I have been added in.
This is the worse app I never use before. Can’t function normally l.
Just download and try. Interface seems good but an important function, the pronunciation doesn’t work! (Updated) The pronunciation button work if I do not turn on the silent button. My problem is resolved.
Thanks for making the app and I have some comment to the app UX and performance I am a iPad user and it is annoying the app do not support landscape mode or cannot support spilt view. I have no choice but forget the app now Another issue is the performance is super slow. I have to wait couple of seconds to do a simple action such as save a word to a word list Also I prefer to group 2-3 same words but with different meaning together.
The UI is great, which gives me a high expectation. Sadly, the function itself is not good. The pronunciation function is not working at all. The word list(card view) does not update after adding the word of the day, until killing the app and reopen it. Intuitively, I expect clicking the word of the day leads me to the dictionary session, but it just does nothing. Not wrong, but not friendly enough. I’m a Cantonese speaker so I usually use the English-Chinese dictionary. There’s no way, or I couldn’t find a way to set the English-Chinese dictionary in default. Every time I’ll have to click the “three dots” to set it, and it restores to English after killing the app…:( I love Cambridge dictionary. Despite having some dictionary apps installed on my phone, I’d still rather go to the website version of Cambridge even It’s inconvenient comparing to the other apps. Please fix and improve the app!!! I will not think twice to pay you but I need a proper dictionary! Thanks Updates: yes it need to turn the sound on. If so, I would suggest making it pronounce without this step. The reason why I said I could make it speak and not questioning about my sound setting, is I’ve tried with the other dictionary app installed on my phone, they could speak even my phone was muted.🙏🏻
Rubbish
I suggest can add some CEFR level on each vocabulary due to some vocabularies didn’t have CEFR level mentioned.
When there are words with multiple definitions/meanings, we should be able to add the ‘word’ to word list instead of adding different definitions separately
