Whether you join us for fitness, adventure, spiritual exploration, or just fun, we know you will enjoy Camino for Good.
Five hikers came together to create this virtual adventure on the Camino do Santiago to share our experience with you.
During a time when you may not be able to travel to Spain, you can still experience the Camino spirit with other walkers.
We have a bigger dream to work for good on many hiking paths, but for 2020, this is our mission.
The Camino for Good app integrates with Healthkit and Fitbit to log miles automatically as you walk each day.

Camino for Good FAQ
Is Camino for Good free?
Yes, Camino for Good is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Camino for Good legit?
Not enough reviews to make a reliable assessment. The app needs more user feedback.
Camino for Good is an outstanding app for anyone interested in the Camino, even if you’ve never walked one. Beautiful photos, personal stories, and fascinating place descriptions from the incomparable John Brierley. And, best of all, the app helps to support albergues along the Camino. Highly recommended!
Great winter walking motivation
I love the photos, the testimonials, the information. But most of all I love that I am motivated to get out and walk every day.
Excellent motivation
I’ve been walking through the pandemic and before but this program’s goal to give money to the albuerges along the Camino is an admirable one. I’m glad to keep donating and to keep walking.
Really Disappointed
I purchased the app but can’t login to use it. It keeps saying I need to pay again even though I have my receipt and have already paid. I have tried emailing support several times with no response.
Forget trying to login via Facebook
I had no end of problems logging in or trying to pay with Facebook. Works much better to pay signing in with Chrome.
Also got error messages logging in to app and paying on my iPhone.
Needs to be more seamless way to pay without needing the app. Hard to set up account and log miles.
App has too many bugs for $59
These folks need to hire testers. There is no reason to sell an app for $59 that can’t sync multiple email addresses and won’t unlock the App. I feel like I took a leap of faith and was robbed!
Other quality issues : you can wind up in a loop with images and the menu and account icons displayed multiple times. The Apple login no longer works and forces a user to use Facebook or Google — for this much money, all options should work, plus the sign in should allow other addresses as well, not force a single-sign on option.
If there weren’t so many bugs the only reason it would be worth this much money is to support the other albergues on the camino. The App itself is ... odd. It seems to be just photographs of a book (with the stripe of the book being held open) and photos of people’s friends I guess this is appealing to some?
The concept really is great and I was happy to pay to be able to follow along the Camino without having to do math in my head as I would using the book. It was exciting to see how far I got and where I’d go tomorrow.
But since I was locked out of the App, I wish I’d saved my $60 and just not been so lazy and broke open my old guidebook.
Happy to update my review if the devs can help me get back into the App!
Deceptive
While I first was encouraged using this program and being able to support the alberges, after using it for just 5 miles and then being held hostage for a 59.95 payment to continue is both deceptive ( not mentioned before in any installation instructions ) and dishonest. It reminds me of the old days of “bait and switch”.
Disappointed with syncing miles
This app intentions and cause are great and most features on the are good; however, it needs a couple of improvements to be able to deliver what is advertising.
First, the app needs a help/customer service/technical support option. This can only be found on the website NOT the app. Found it by chance.
Second, if you offer to sync with your phone “health” app then it needs to do it on a daily basis not weekly. This will ruin the excitement of tracking the cities that you have visited as you cannot see the pics or track your miles until the app updates. I have sent a couple of emails to IT for them to update for me. The only other option is for you to DONT sync your health app and add the miles manually. Then why even offer the option.
Please fix this as it is really ruining the experience that you are advertising.
Disappointing
Although I believe the idea is well intentioned and I was looking forward to using the app to support a worthy cause while using it for motivation to meet my walking goals on a more regular basis. After less than two weeks these are the issues I have encountered: 1) Although I paid the $60 registration on the second or third day of use, I am finding that today, approximately day 8, the app has locked out my access trying to collect another $60. 2) There is no “contact us” or “Help” link to report problems with the app, no phone number, email, nothing. I’m left in the cold with this review as my best hope of reaching someone to straighten my account out. 3) I got a passport stamp as I embarked on the journey and again at Destination 2. By Destination 3, my first passport stamp had disappeared and it wouldn’t reissue one for embarkation point, nor issue one for either the 3rd or 4th destinations. No Q & A or problem solving links to figure out how to deal with this or any other issues. 4) Along about the 3rd or 4th day the option appeared to automatically synch my Apple Health miles walked with the app which I set as my preference. Worked for a couple days, then nada. Option thereafter disappeared. It seemed to work perfectly during it’s oh-so-brief appearance. I noticed today the option was back again, but since I’m being held hostage for another 60 bucks, I can’t actually avail myself of it. 5)I would suggest better how-to’s, videos or explanations within the app to explain what to do when things go wrong. The app is not as user friendly as it appears to be. Right now I have paid $60 for an app that I am locked out of with no apparent way to contact customer service. Not a good experience, although I am holding out hope that this review will be seen and the problems taken care of. Otherwise, my 3 star rating is over-generous. Once the problems are cleared up, it will be a 4 or 5 star, because I think it’s a great cause. That keeps me from slamming them with a 0 stars. But please fix my account asap. Please. I really was looking forward to this.
