Is Camp Australia free?
Yes, Camp Australia is completely free and it doesn't have any in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Is Camp Australia legit?
⚠️ The Camp Australia app has poor ratings and negative feedback. Users seem unsatisfied with its performance or features.
It would be great to see a few things added to make the app more user friendly:
1. Calendar syncing for iCal, Google calendar, etc;
2. Ability to see the full holiday program without having to go through to the booking screen; and
3. If there is ever other government vouchers like we had last year it would be handy to see the remaining balance of the voucher/credit.

Just doesn’t work, ever! Why can’t they make the most basic of things work in 2023
Photo Cannot Enlarge/Zoom
It seems very poor quality to have the gallery but then photos are not clickable to zoom in for better clarity of artwork etc. It should be part of the features upon launching.
Constant dramas
Numerous times over the past year I have tried to cancel bookings via both the app and website and it won’t let me. I have contacted CA to be told to delete and reinstall the app and delete cookie history. I’ve done all that so many times but I still end up with the same problem. I always have to end up ringing to cancel/edit a booking. Kinda defeats the purpose!
Confusing
Hi Team,
I begging you please :
- please show “Done” after we made payment and do not show a button to make “PAY NOW” again. Just like optus app so easy to use, simple and clear. Optus app does not allowed us double pay not like camp aus app.
I keep pressing pay now until I mistakenly paid three times.
Now, I made a payment through app last night it says “request payment submitted” but this morning I got reminder overdue, I checked my bank camp aus hasn’t charged yet I made another payment through app again it says “request payment submitted” but nothing?!
- booking calendar : please keep the calendar history of bookings so we can track back.
Also, kinda useless to send a text reminding of how many bookings are made if there’s no date details.
- show us the nsw voucher remaining credit on the app.
App doesn’t let you make any bookings
CampAustralia told me to delete and reinstall, doesn’t work and doesn’t work on the website either. My account is up to date with payment.
Terrible. Can’t book holiday club on app
The app has bugs it won’t allow me to select my children to proceed to book them for holiday club. The website doesn’t work for me either. I had to book via phone call.
Another annoying issue is that the app won’t show the activity for the day. So I can’t tell if the kids are staying in or going out for an excursion. Disaster.
Billing issues
The new statements generated do not make any sense ,the numbers dont match on the app and the statements , have to call the call centre everytime to understand the difference. Please revert to old billing statements.
Still awful
Still not able to make a booking on the app, so I go to the portal, now that doesn’t even work through safari.. fix it please.
Doesn’t work
Useless. Can’t make bookings. Does not show any information except my billing.
