The ads are super annoying. It asks if u want to watch a video for a hint. Click no and u get an ad. Stupid. Worst part is with the attained objects. They are put in the upper right if the screen. Go to drag it and it activates the iOS function of the phone. Barely playable.
I buy the levels and nothing happened I just saw the loading screen said don’t exit before loading finish and I waited and nothing happen I hate this so much
the game popped up an add the first time i opened it and made a purchase for me before i could even cancel it. shame on the makers for stealing players money.
TO THE DEVELOPER and fellow Escape gamers: I downloaded this game when it first hit the App Store 5 years ago, and knew that this was an instant classic when it comes to being a great escape game. I play LOTS of games, but still come back to this one about every 6 months during my rotation of game titles. I've also successfully shared this game with a lot of friends, too. Well, I just sat down to play again and am stunned at how any developer can think that a loud, obnoxious "Anime" advertisements interrupting the game between EVERY level, and WORSE, another concentration-breaking interruption DURING each level, could ever be considered OK.....or F U N !! It's seriously just ridiculous. I went to the Main Menu to see if I could at least PAY to have these DISGUSTING advertisements removed from what used to be a really great game...NOPE! Ultimately, this fantastic game has been destroyed by advertisements. (Obvious, no-brainer TIP for the developer: Players hate constant advertisements when they are trying to enjoy a game. Therefore, THEY GO ELSEWHERE to play ANOTHER game! The outcome? Nobody even WATCHES the advertisements you are forcing on them, therefore, you don't get paid your revenues ANYway! Where's your logic in that?!? Your "General Update" of January 2019 was a bad move on your part, and you should AT LEAST give your players the option to give you .99$ to get rid of these ads. We play your game. You get paid. Everyone wins. I hope you can make another "General Update" to reflect this because again, this used to be a really, fun, entertaining, thought provoking game to play... I'll check back in a month, but otherwise it is BYE from me....and I only made it to Level 3.😩😥😪 (after SERIOUSLY watching 6 or 7 advertisements!)
I bought 5 hints for the first room and used 3 only to be sent back to the same place on the desk. I tapped, tried to slide the books or something and nothing happened. I want my money back for the hints. I can't play this game.
I love the levels it did allow me to play for free. Im not into spending money on phone games. But each is his own tho......
I was playing along, enjoying the simplicity of the game, until it seemed to quit in a living room. I uncovered a CD and the only obvious place for it would go was in the player under the TV, but it wouldn’t go there. Of course I tried everything else too. I’d already purchased 2 hints, decided I’d had enough. I closed it out.
Great game! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Many of the escape rooms out there are still shots with arrows. This at leased allowed for the illusion of actually looking for something. Some of the premises were on the cheesy side (once I get my axe, why not keep it and just continue knocking doors down?) but for the sake of mission/success game play I could appreciate why it's set up that way. Would be nice to be able to get items out of order and not know which one was needed right away in order to proceed, but it allowed it to flow. Experienced escape rooms buffs might dismiss this app for its simplicity - and they would have a valid point - but for something different, something for new-comers to the scene, or for those who just love escape puzzles, it is a good app. It is definitely a good platform to build on and the possibilities are endless. Creative apps like this can help move the escape room experience forward and I give it 5 stars to support their endeavors with hopes it will lead to better game play in the future.
