Would be a great addition to available stations available!
Absolutely misleading....."Canadian Marine Weather Forecast" no way.. buoy information out in the pacific of no use called "BC Buoy Data Center".. not Canadian We Spell it "Centre" Was expecting to use it in boating off the mainland of BC and east coast of Vancouver Island.. I was unable to try it or investigate before buying. It should be removed. Totally ripped off
Not useful for the Great Lakes at all… wish I’d read the reviews before downloading
Wasted money
App says data is available for “B.C. and Nova Scotia”. One buoy in Halifax is NOT data for Nova Scotia, it’s data for Halifax. Money down the drain.
I decided to buy this app that is very limited. It states that it will tell you the wind direction among other things. This is that it doesn’t tell you wind direction which is actually the only reason I decided to purchase this app. What a steal and a shame they need to lie to sell their product. I want my money back!
Seems like the data it is sending is days old!! That doesn’t help at all. And it’s missing most of the data I cab get by using marine forecast!! Brutal app. Can’t believe it cost anything!
I was hoping this app would give me local weather conditions so I could make informed decisions before heading out to kayak or sail. The closest data is from a buoy too far from my location to be of much use. I get better localized data from a free app (and googling the marine weather forecast).
The app has a cleaner look than the NRCAN webpage but would like to see the hourly wind data added to the wave swell data.
