Canara Bank launches “Canara ai1” Mobile Banking Super App with more than 250 features integrated with the futuristic vision of “One Bank, One App”.

An intuitive app with enhanced User Interface & User Experience, “Canara ai1” Mobile Banking Super App offers a host of customer centric functionalities such as multi-mode funds transfer viz. UPI, RTGS,NEFT & IMPS, Fixed and Recurring Deposit opening,Fastag Recharge, Pay EMI / loans, scheduled payments, Nomination, Integrated Bill Pay, Integrated UPI etc., as additional features.

The app gives unique experience by providing option to customize the dashboard and choose the application theme of user choice (light/dark). App also features SCAN & PAY facility in the pre login screen.

Steps to install:

1. Install Canara ai1 mobile app.
2. After successful installation open app by clicking new Canara ai1 icon.
3. Click on next button to continue after selecting the SIM having Registered Mobile Number with the Bank. SMS will be initiated from the selected SIM; Ensure balance is available to send the SMS successfully.
4. After successful Mobile Number validation, an OTP will be sent to your Registered Mobile Number.
5. Enter the OTP received and continue.
6. You will be redirected to create and confirm your 5 digits numeric PASSCODE for login to the application.
7. Accept the Terms & Conditions after successfully creating the PASSCODE.
8. Grant the permissions requested during the registration process to access all aplication features.
9. Before initiating any mobile Banking transactions, you need to create and confirm new 6 digits numeric MPIN for authenticating transactions.
10. Click on ‘SET NOW’ to activate your Mobile Banking facility using active debit card details/activation code (Visit home branch for generating the activation code).

Brilliant app. Very well dove with all features and easy to use.

Improve application

Not working with IPhone OS 12.5.7. Keep on closing.

App crashing

App doesn’t even open. It crashes as soon as it opens

Worst interface

I can use it on iPhone for some basic things no problem. But some of the options are either slow or very quirky. Not at all tested. It has got the worst user experience imaginable for a banking app. So many small small icons displayed in 1 big page. Totally ineffective user interface. Not to mention the silly name for the app.

App not opening

May 8 2023 version of the App is not opening in my phone. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, still the same.

Worst app ever- can’t go beyond mpin

Registered with 5 digits pin and that’s it.. keep asking me enter the 5digits pin. What a crap app developed by Canara bank. Have you guys at least tested it before releasing to public ?

Even logging in is an issue. Says my mobile is not registered when I had already registered months ago.

Does not work

Does not send initial SMS from my phone. Says UPI generation failed

Canara mobile app

The most worst app that I’ve ever seen in my life aft operating multiple bank apps. This new canara mobile bank app is wasting people’s time in the name of security features. It spoils the essence of mobility for people. It never worked consistently for about a week also. Such a crap one and I really wonder who gave the right requirements to built this way to put lot of security layers. It causes many hurdles to get thru before you can use it for a day. Highly inconsistent, abrupt hung up and lock outs, and highly potential to loose business and customers. IT department has to consider rewriting the app entirely.
