I love canasta and this game keeps me going.
Missing rules and a dumb AI
For the love of god, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE MAKE THE COMPUTER SMARTER. With every game, no matter the difficulty, it feels like the computer is focused on going out, not on scoring points. The aim of a round is to get as many points as possible. Being the first to out does NOT necessarily mean you will score the most points. Also, a lot of rules are missing, and these missing rules make the game far too easy. 1) When making a new meld, you must use at least three natural cards. A pair and a wild is NOT allowed as an initial meld. Three naturals and a wild is allowed. 2) A meld/canasta cannot contain more than 3 wild cards, and the number of wild cards must always be less than the number of natural cards. So, for example, you cannot have a meld containing 3 wilds and 3 naturals. 3) You can only pick up from the discard pile to make a new meld if you have a pair in your hand. If you have an 8 and a wild, you can’t pick up a second 8 from the pile. You MUST have at least two 8s to pick up that third 8 from the pile. It’s the same rule as when the pack is frozen. This also ties into the missing 3) rule, because a meld of two 8s and a wild is not allowed. 4) When making your initial meld/s and you need to reach the point threshold (50, 90 or 120), you are only allowed to to use the TOP card on the discard pile. Once you’ve gotten enough points, only then can you pick up the rest of the discard pile and add other discarded cards to your hand and your melds. If these missing rules were added and the AI was made smarter, I would gladly give this game 5 stars. I would even be willing to PAY for the game if these changes were made. As it is, this app is currently nothing more than fine. YOU COULD MAKE IT GREAT. YOU CAN DO IT. I BELIEVE IN YOU.

Excellent game love it so many levels to play
It’s good
The game is good. The expert level doesn’t appear to be more difficult compared to the lower levels. My loss rate is around 2%, so I think the difficulty level could be much higher. But it is a good game. The multiplayer version is disappointing though
