I know the app itself is free and seeing your “subscriptions” (which it’ll just pull stuff from your last couple handful of emails, so it doesn’t even get all your subscriptions) BUT to actually cancel said subscriptions you need to start a free trial.
I’m all one for a free trial but I feel like 90% of the “free trials” I’ve partaken in charge me earlier than they say they will.
REAL EXAMPLE: I had Uber One’s “free trial”, I cancelled it a couple days into having it because I still had a couple days left of the trial. To my surprise they charged me for the entire trial as soon as I cancelled it which was around $200 because they were charging me for an annual subscription that I didn’t ask for. I asked for a free trial but anyways… moral of the story; since it’s Uber I still haven’t been able to get that $200 BACK TO THIS DAY! I personally don’t trust this free trial stuff and I’m not going to start one just to have to track when it’s going to end and pray and hope it won’t charge me earlier than expected.
