I have a Candy RapidO 1496DWH71-S. The app is necessary to use the washing machine in extended mode, as not all options are available outside the app. However there are some downsides: - the app does not have the faceID option. Starting iOS 18 the app logoff the user daily. So if I login today, tomorrow I am requested to authenticate again, despite marking the option for “Remember me”. It is very annoying, as stated by other users too. - why the Rinse programme does not allow to select the maximum speed of the washing machine? Mine has 1400 rpm. Some programmes have maximum rpm, but it is funny that the rinsing programme alone does not allow higher rpm than 1000. - there are significant differencies between the washing time indicated and and the real washing time. I mean the real one may be significative higher than the expected ending time, even 1 hour more. - Why there is a delay in unlocking the machine at the end of programme when the app is used compared with controlling the machine using the knob. In the latter case the door is unlocked immediately when the programme ends. When using the remote and app, it takes 2 minutes to unlock the door, even if the programme ended.

Is a good app helping you to select easier the programs, but the connection to the washing machine is poor.

The app stops working after a couple of weeks and you have to delete it and re-install it to make it work again

When trying to open the app is doesn’t open. I have to reinstall it to work properly. And I have to do this every day i wish to use the remote function of the washing machine. Also, i get kicked out and have to relogin almost after every washing cycle.

Rubbish!!! keep registering myself but I never get the username. So I can’t log in at all. Very annoying!!

I downloaded the apo and when i am trying to register my product, it sais that i need to use a device with NFC. I am using an iPhone 15 pro, so it has NFC. Still, i cannot connect to the device.
