Description
Canon PRINT Business is a free application that enables you to use a Canon laser multi-function device or laser printer to print photographs and documents, read scanned data, and upload to cloud storage services, etc. from an iPhone or iPad.
Main Features
- Print scanned data, images, documents, camera roll photos, and web pages.
- Read scanned data from a multi-function device.
- Image capture with a camera.
- Work with files in local or cloud storage.
- Automatically detect multi-function devices and/or printers on a network, or manually search for them by specifying an IP address or DNS.
- Search multi-function devices and/or printers with Bluetooth.
- Touch the mobile terminal to log in to the multi-function device and/or printer (Bluetooth installed machine).
- Register multi-function devices and/or printers with a QR code.
- Check the print settings, and print data held in a multi-function device or printer.
- Use the address book of a mobile terminal in place of the address book registered in a multi-function device.
- Check the condition of a multi-function device or printer in detail, such as device status etc., via its Remote UI.
- Support VoiceOver (some English and Japanese screens only)
- Use the Remote Operation function to display the control panel of the multi-function device and/or printer on a mobile terminal.
- Use the app to copy, send faxes, or scan and send by e-mail from a multi-function device or printer.

Unfinished work - not worthy of Canon
This could have been just what I was looking for to support printing mails and web pages from my iPad to my Canon LBP7750C printer, but it has a number of limitations and faults: 1) Most importantly: It does not integrate with the normal iOS printing functions, so it does not allow printing from any of the standard or later installed Apps. It only allows printing from inside itself, when this Canon print app is open. 2) When attempting to print from the internet browser built into the canon app, it first has to do a preview of whats being printed. This takes a long time! And the preview failed to include most of the several pictures that were present on the web page I tried (dr.dk)! 3) When exiting from the print preview function, it did not go back to the web page I was viewing, but just to an empty web page. Additionally, the web browser suddenly insisted on displaying in portrait view, despite I was operating in landscape view. 4) It does not support 2-up printing 5) When attempting to print a photo from within the Canon App, the printing failed with an error message about the printer. But all that was wrong was that the printer had been in sleep mode, and apparently the Canon app did not anticipate this and did not wait long enough! Disappointing that cannot anticipate the behaviour of its own products! When I tried again with the printer already awake, it did work. So unfortunately: this App is unfinished work, and is not worthy of Canon. It can only hurt Canon's reputation and that is probably not what they intended.

Har utroligt svært ved at finde printeren over Wifi, selv ved direkte indtastning af IP adresse. Man kan kun printe websider og billeder ud..? Hvad med mine mails, pdf filer, notater osv? Puha Canon, det ligner noget jeres elever har lavet en eftermiddag til fredagsbar.. DET ER EN OMMER !!!

Kikset
Min Mac og min PC kan uden videre finde min wifi Canon printer, men Canons egen app kan ikke. Not cool!
