1 date picker doesnt support yeras so to input some data for previous years you have to scroll date picker month by month. 2 fuel comsumption stats in units different than us galons are only avaliable during inputing data. 3 enough space to save only basic data about car. Data as engine number, tyres presure, bulb types etc may be only saved as awkward notes.
Overall it's a good app and does what you would expect however I would like to see a couple of improvements in a future update: 1. The mpg per tank ratings should be listed on the tank it relates to as opposed to the most recent fill up. 2. Option to manually list the purchase location instead of solely through gps. 3. Option to enter the vehicle purchase cost away from the service schedule. 4 stars until the mpg query is sorted
much improved in recent versions, making it alot more usable. Accomodates UK better and any vehicle can now be entered.
This is a nice(ish) app and I'm comparing it side by side with AccuFuel. It definitely does some things better like allowing you to edit entries, and the export is a nice feature. The data entry however is aweful! It remembers your measurement preferences between fillups, but if you exit the application and re-enter it, it forgets the quantity measurement (i.e. Litres or Gallons). This means that I had to scroll from 131.7 to 38.4 in increments of 0.1 - that is NOT useful. The odometer reading scroll section is also not comfortable to use. Because it is such a small picker, it feels wrong having to scroll so far up and down to make changes (0-9). Finally, the single decimal place for the fuel amount is not useful for anyone using litres - this might be fine for Gallons, but for litres you really need 2 decimal precision. This feels like a US-centric app that has just had a few hacks thrown at it to make it suitable for European / African use. The issue with forgetting whether you were using Gallons or Litres and then changing the amount is an absolute deal breaker.
I like the quick and easy entry of fuel fill up data. I disagree with the other comment here - you CAN enter cars not listed. You have to hit the '+' button for new make and again then again for new model. It has Litres option, but needs option to change $ to £ or euros. It would also be nice if you could record your own service info, like 'air con top-up' with date and milage.
