Car-lights Reviews

Nice App

I am using this app for all my RGB lights , very easy to connect and a lots of functions . Nice 👍

Not useful

Bankergal1972 on

I have car lights that instructions say work with this app both Android and iPhone it says connected but it doesn't work. Very disappointed

Same Issues

JimmyR0ck1 on

United States

As the other reviewer said, the color always changes from the one I set, to another color. The on-off button does nothing. I think the problem might be that the control unit doesn’t store the color if the unit is connected to a key-off fuse. When the controller unit was connected directly to the battery it seemed to work.

Scam

ScamForever on

Don’t fall for this scam. China funded apps made to collect ur info. This is why Apple won’t renew.

App does not save last color

Dooli Hawks on

United States

Same issue multiple people report. The color resets each time you start up. Worst part is it is red, which is illegal to have facing forward in most places. Do not buy any light that uses this app.

Does the job bit wish it did more

Pink Virago on

United States

It seems like a lot of the reviews here could be more about the controller working than the lights. That being said I have used this app with quake and now trying a new brand. The app does the job and I can find great colors but I have yet to figure out how to take a color I create and add motion to it. All the motion options are based on the primary colors which I don’t use. Maybe someone will respond to this review with a solution for me.

Needs Update

App severely needs an overhaul and update for the newer iPhones. Music and microphone mode consistently crash the app and is no use. Please give attention to this

Who can help?

Extremely Poor Documentation

Purchased 9 inch Diamond Led Halo Headlights for our 2019 Jeep JL on Amazon Installed Headlights and Downloaded the app and installed as directed. There are many color options and modes that I like but most are illegal in my state while driving. White or Amber only are legal for forward facing lights while driving is in my state Used our iPhone 11’s to control just fine There was absolutely no documentation regarding setting the Bluetooth controller power on default color Wanted the halo lights to remember the last color setting as power to Bluetooth controller is based on a fuse tap switched with accessory on circuit and comes on every time you start the Jeep Took me 3 months to figure this out via brute force in the app so I thought I would share how to set memory power on feature here To set memory at power on 1 Open the app and Bluetooth connect to lights 2 Choose the color you want to be the default power on color 3 Using the power button in the app, top center to turn off and on the lights 5 times 4 Leave on to have selected color come on at power up of Bluetooth controller 5 Leave off to have the lights off at power up of Bluetooth controller 6. Power off the Bluetooth controller 7 Power off your phone to test with no app 7. The next time the Bluetooth controller has power on, your selected color will be on or off as you selected in 4 or 5 above This worked for me Still have not figured out controlling with music mode. There are only 3 Chinese songs you can select? Have no idea where to place mp3 files for selecting my own music on my phone. Using microphone is simply not acceptable to me. Also noticed a white eclipse and white circle around the selected color I have no idea what this means??? Hence I can only give this app 2 stars. Software designer has thought of many features but many are secrets and not intuitive at all with no documentation how to use them App is ok but needs a complete documentation overhaul

Works great on my iPhone 13 Pro Max
