A worthy photography application

While I am a old school photographer, Carbon is one of the very few applications that I have and use to consider. It’s a mature collection of colour and style choices.
I fell for the ad on Facebook so I tried the app. I was close to buy the complete filter bundle, 50% off for “only” 21.99€. Offering in-app purchases overpriced with a 50% reduction as a limited time special offer clever idea to trick you into buying, btw. I love the frame with the film negative look. But my gut feeling told me not to buy. Luckily I own the app ExifWizard Pro which clearly showed me that Carbon saves your photos only in a crappy low resolution of 2000x1500 down from 4032x3024 of the original camera resolution. That might be okay for social networking but not if you intend to print your photos enlarged on premium quality photo paper. So my advice is to stay alert for rip-offs as this seems to be the new marketing model, and don’t buy this app. Get you ExifWizPro instead , which is really a very useful tool not only to read and edit your exif data, but also to discover the foul methods of some app developers.
Amazing attributes.
Black and white options in a snap! Perfect for when I don't feel like going into photoshop
Excellent app if you want to convert or edit an image to B & W High quality
Been using this app for awhile and I love the new updates especially the colorize option.
litty app
I’ve used many black & white editing apps, but this is my favorite by far.
Love this app
I haven’t been using this app for long but have been very happy with the results. Given that the iPhone photo app only has three black and white filters. I’ve been frustrated with that limitation. The Carbon app has so much more to offer! Worth trying out.
