No reason why approximately once a month the app forces you to sign back in and go through the process of seemingly resetting your PIN, especially since utilizing the app daily.
I had carefirst for a couple years and they are the biggest insurance scam I’ve ever experienced. Carefirst has a nice sales pitch but then you come to find out patients, I mean customers who actually pay for their dysfunctional insurance plan can expect high unexpected costs with subpar benefits. The app is horrible. The customer support has long wait times (except for sales which you get right though). The coverage is confusing and calling to verify coverage still has no guarantee you have coverage. I hope you don’t have to file a claim, appeal or grievance because you will have to mail it to carefirst. Not email, not fax just mail and your mail will probably get lost. Use certified mail. Carefirst has lost 3 of the 4 things I had to mail to them. Luckily I knew they were scam artists so I referenced the certified mail delivery and carefirst staff decided to search their garbage cans extra hard and found my appeals, claims and grievances. Don’t walk away from Carefirst, run. Have you ever gone to an in network dentist and then received an out of network bill because the dentist was in network but their office wasn’t? How about having an in network teledoc appointment and then receiving an out of network lab bill for the bloodwork associated with that appointment? Labsork is out of network because the in network provider you saw for your teledoc appointment lives in a different state than you do and carefirst bases their lab work coverage on the residence of the provider. It’s your insurance coverage. You should have known the appointment is in network and the lab won’t be because lab work claims go off NPI residency. If you call carefirst to make sure you have in network coverage they will tell you all information given to you might not be accurate. Nice way to avoid all responsibility carefirst. Its impossible to know your coverage when carefirst isn’t even confident in telling you what’s in network. These are the types of games CareFirst plays with their dental and medical claims. Their app is trash just like everything else about Carefirst. Don’t believe me? Try it out for yourself. If you’re healthy and don’t use your insurance, you shouldn’t have any problems with them. Your problems aren’t a priority for Carefirst. You're just a number to them. I have a $1,000 out of pocket lab bill associated with a teledoc wellness exam. It’s preventative care but somehow carefirst was able to put the claim out of network and pay less than 10% of the total bill.
I love this app so easy to navigate and it’s so helpful when you need it most!
The profound arrogance of having anything other than my insurance ID information - which I need for any healthcare. Every stock photo in this app was taken with an expensive camera, and every program built with expensive software, all purchased with money that should be in my pocket.
My coach is very helpful and attentive to my health needs and very supportive as well as understanding how I operate to get better results.
This app appears not to work at all. It only gives the option to download Sharecare or quit. Pretty useless.
This is okay as long as you don’t have a surgery for whatever reason. It doesn’t update prescription medication or circumstances, you have to do that yourself. Aside from those things, it’s pretty good.
This is a great app. I am really accomplishing my fitness goals with it.
For days I’ve been trying to select my PCP but the app is in a perpetual loading screen. But everything works fine up until that moment. The App Store says to click the gear icon in the app to get support. But there isn’t a gear icon in the you section or anywhere in the app. There’s no way to fix the issue.
