having just moved to a new city and needing to find a way to make new friends in a fun, curated way, I was recommended carom by a friend and it’s saved my social life as a Paris newcomer! it’s fun, easy to use and offers a lot of diverse events for meeting new people in real life - fills a gap that I feel a lot of people have been looking for.

Fun social app

I’ve used Carom in both Paris and NYC. It’s a great way to experience a new city and attend unique events. I got to go on a private tour of a NYC art gallery which was amazing. A lot of the restaurants and bars that are on there are hidden gems I wouldn’t have known about on my own. And best of all, the people I’ve met through the app have all been really friendly, fun, and genuine people. Looking forward to when it expands to more cities!

Great way to meet new people in Paris!

I’ve been living in Paris for years and Carom has helped me to rediscover the city with new people, particularly with an international crowd. I joined a few events and I also hosted one, which was a great way to practice my facilitation skills. I’d recommend it for personal and professional growth.

The must have ex-pat app

I discovered this app and it helped me find so many like-minded connections while living away from the US. My deepest fear was being alone in a new city and this app allows you to meet like-minded people at literally your fingertips.
