Amazing idea. Poor execution
Love the idea but it’s nothing like car play. If you get the dashboard and everything to look and act the same would easily pay 50$ a year to use
This app steals your money
I bought the lifetime option of CarOS the app didn’t impress me at all. In fact it was awful! Now they released an update and they are asking me to pay again. Fix your app and don’t double triple charge. I want this fixed
Extremely disappointing
Tried this app a few years back. Interface has improved however overall functionality and lack thereof is still the same. Promising idea but there is no true navigation implementation in the maps. This makes no sense if I have to switch apps to get functionality. Cancelled subscription again. The authors should be very clear on the limitations on their website given the monthly pricing of this unfinished product.
Navigation should be integrated
I love the idea and the interface is fantastic, but navigation should be integrated into the app.
CarPlay it is Not
App was recommended to me as a way to operate my phone similarly to CarPlay. It immediately failed to do the one thing for which it was designed. Tap Google maps, enter destination, app switches to Google maps. Ok. Enter destination there. Switch back to CarOS…it isn’t there. I can see the map, and destination…no route. Canceled.
Dumb
This app is almost useless. Doesn’t work with Apple Maps and Google maps launches outside of app. Pretty much a pointless app.
Can’t use in portrait
The location where I want to have my phone mounted to the dashboard only has enough room to be in portrait. But the app won’t let me use in portrait mode. Had to cancel subscription. I know it seems weird but doesn’t seem like a big ask to allow it.
I hate this app
Horrible!!! It constantly disconnects and reconnects! I can’t even make a phone call because it disconnects. This is a horrible app and I wish I could use something different. I even pay the yearly subscription and it works 10% of the time. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
iPhone do not recognizes CarOS app as available car🤔😖🙅
Why apple CarPlay do not recognizes CarOS app as available car? For what solution , task is this app so? How synchronize my iPhone with my iPad through buildin iPhone app carplay? iPad doesn’t have CarPlay So the program do not useable for may tasks I was paying subscription but was not satisfied!!!👎👎🏻👎
