Thorough Enjoyment
The great graphics, controls and good instrumentation and guidance make this thoroughly enjoyable.
Physics porked
The older version "F18 Carrier Landings" was one of my favourite iOS games. Unfortunately the physics on this new version just doesn't feel realistic once the wind picks up. The flight path marker doesn't seem to work in a crosswind either. Prettier graphics don't compensate for these shortfalls. Consequently missions feel 'gamey' when in reality landing in poor weather shouldn't feel like an impossible challenge. I'll be waiting for 'Carrier Landings 2' or playing the original version until then.

Please make it possible to play in landscape mode and it doesn't work properly in portrait due to button positions are way off
