Description

Carrot.run solves the problem of how people of different speeds & abilities compete against each other, over the 5km distance.
We created an immersive app experience; at the centre is the Carrot Target Time method:
* You will have your own unique target time (your Carrot).
* Your aim is to catch it every game week. Very difficult to do every week, as it learns and changes base don your performance!
* The difference between your ACTUAL TIME (e.g. 20:00 mins) and your CARROT (e.g. 21:00 mins) = your CARROT RESULT (e.g. -01:00 min)
* Within a league, everybody us ranked by their carrot result
* This is how everybody can compete together on a level playing field, no matter their age, gender, speed, ability or location!

NEW RELEASE...
In v2.0 we have reached new heights...
You can now connect with STRAVA, allowing automatic pull of your run. You simply have to open the app; and the rest is done for you.
Don't worry - if you're not on STRAVA, we are planning on integrating with other trackers such as GARMIN, Parkrun, Apple Watch and Nike.
(but will need some support to do this, so please reach out to us if interested!)
Carrot is different to ANY other fitness app. EVERYBODY BELONGS. It doesn't matter your ability or disability. Whether you're a 20 minute parkrunner or a solo mid-week 40 min walker. If you're travelling and in a hotel, on a treadmill. Or in the middle of the sea on a ship.
We can now all compete together, specifically over 5km...
(2km distance coming in 2022!)

You can use Carrot to motivate yourself; on your own. Or create, join a friend's league and be part of the Series, going for Gold medal, scoring points each game week, based on your carrot result position!
NOTE: Leagues are like Whatsapp groups. You can only join leagues you know; or are invited to. We don't do public leagues - we are personal and it's all about you and your community.
We leave the public leagues to the other run keepers!
Why? This creates a more meaningful, personal and motivational experience, to keep you inspired and connected.
A bit more info....
* Game Week opens every Sunday and closes Saturday, 18:00!
* You can upload a run (STRAVA or manual trust based method) as many times as you like during the week.... so long as it's quicker!
* We only take your best 5k time of the week.
* COMING IN JANUAR 2022... Carrot Points add a little bit more motivation. From annual best times to run streaks - we have created an extra layer of gaming, which the solo runners love!
* Exclusive unlocks - Only Carrot members can wear the classy, ultra-premium Carrot run sock. Visit our store to buy!
Welcome to Carrot and we hope you enjoy and motivate your friends too!
