I have absolutely no idea what to do

I’m sorry but the app worked fine before the last update and now it’s unstable. Often the opens in German, or just pauses on black. Every time I close the app and open it I have to retell it to play offline. The game works fine for the most part, but something is definitely more unstable about the app experience.

Unfortunately it seems that the latest update has caused a problem wherein none of the changes made in settings are applied when starting a game. It always defaults back to map A, standard cards, no heroes expansion or anything. Also, a long-standing issue is that the system used for usernames is awful. I made myself a username ages ago but then at some point—maybe a change of phones or something—the app forgot what my username was and asked again. I put in my original username but it was already taken… because it was my old choice. There’s no way of recovering usernames, so now I’ve ended up blocking three or four variations of my original. I think they all need to be wiped from the server and a new system implemented with a password or something so that we can log in to an actual account.

How do I play online?

There’s a very good game here, both fun and challenging, but it’s a bit hidden behind a terrible tutorial that seems to be have been badly translated from another language. There is a rule sheet included though, but expect the first few games to be tricky as you try to understand what the game is about. Once you get the hang of it - and it won’t take long - it’s a lot of fun.

When I saw the price tag on this (and that there were leaderboards) I concluded it must have multiplayer.. I was wrong and needless to say really disappointed. It reduces a 1-100 player game into a strictly solo game. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I can only assume the devs have stats telling them it’s not worth bothering with MP but I just don’t understand why. I’d love to play this with friends, even in pass&play or a ‘play along with the physical board game’ version of the app would be good (Similar to the “Welcome To..” app) but nothing? I recommend going to Tabletopia instead, it’s free and it does have multiplayer & solo but is a board game simulator rather than an app. Still better imo.

Despite having an account at BrettSpielWelt it says my email address is unknown. I therefore can only use offline mode. This area of the app could do with some work...

Great version of the Boardgame, App does everything you would expect, no real tutorial but the rule book is on the app and I watched a 10 minute YouTube how to play video and was up to speed straight away.

The game is trash. It’s impossible to select areas desired. Absolute waste of money.

Looks like bugs have been fixed, so I downloaded the app again, and I’m glad I did. It works very well. It’s challenging but still peaceful to play, just the right amount of tension. Definitely one of my favorite solo board game apps. It’s awesome when you get a high score, you feel like you really achieved something. All for a great price with no ads or IAP, and a small file size, and it’s good on battery too. Thank you developer for doing things right and keeping it updated. It’s very appreciated. I download your game Friday too. Also very good. Thank you!
