Description

Sixty high-yield psychiatry cases helps students sharpen their diagnostic and problem-solving skills
The Case Files series is an award-winning learning system proven to improve shelf-exam scores and clerkship performance. Unlike other study materials on the market, this series helps students learn in the context of real patients instead of simply memorizing.
Case Files: Psychiatry presents realistic clinical scenarios to enhance and hone your clinical decision-making skills. Sixty high-yield cases illustrate essential concepts in psychiatric care. Each case begins with a vignette accompanied by relevant open-ended questions designed to teach diagnostic or therapeutic approaches relevant to psychiatry. The answers that follow emphasize mechanisms and underlying principles. This sixth edition features a new format with bulleted summaries, shorter paragraphs, and clearer headings.
-Realistic cases are accompanied by questions that encourage you to think through DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and therapeutic options.
-Real-life psychiatry cases with high-yield discussions aligned to clerkship guidelines.
-USMLE-style review questions and clinical pearls accompany each case
-Primer on how to approach clinical problems and think like an experienced doctor
This free application includes 1 sample case study from the 60 that are available with a subscription.
Each case has been designed for the iPhone/iPad with interactive features.

Case Files Psychiatry Reviews

Purchased but still asking me to purchase again!

I sent a message to the customer service but not answering. I purchased the app for $39.99, then when I was about to access the other files, its asking me to pay again!? Is this a scam? I need my money back.

Incompatible with iPhone X/Viewing Issues

fabulousnurse on

United States

This review is based purely on the fact that I cannot view all of the content on my iPhone X. Case questions are often not displayed and require the app to be restarted, or do not show the entire question making it impossible for you to get any sort of educational value out of it since it is incomplete. Very frustrating. This app is obviously not compatible with iPhone X, but the App Store indicates that it is. Waste of money.
