Catena: Bible & Commentaries

May God bless all of you and your beautiful service! I’m so glad and I really appreciate the commentaries from the church fathers. I was looking for something like this from a while and finally I found the perfect one. The app is pretty nice. Thank you very much.

This app is truly a blessing. I love the ability to choose how long I want to finish the new or Old Testament and it tells me everyday what I need to read to fulfill that. I have accountability everyday to make sure I did my readings. The explanations are also very helpful.

Catena is a great app for not only reading the Bible but delving into the meaning of each verse. When you click on each verse there are commentaries from our church fathers explaining the verse and the context. There are also video explanations from priests that are also very useful.

Unimaginably amazing app. Extremely smooth and well-coded, bugs are extremely rare, it works even without internet access. The commentaries are always very informative and given the small team they’re marked as well as you could possibly imagine. This is really people doing God’s work
