Catholic Saint of the Day

I love that they have correlated the calendar to saint of the day, but why not add a play button if there is a podcast about already done that saint too?

I really like this app. It’s sweet and a great way to learn about the Saints. But I’m taking away two stars for not having a way to share these with others.

Thank you Shining Light Dolls for the beautiful Saint stories! We have listened to many through the podcast during lunch or quiet time. I love the length (approximately 7 min each), the historical details at the beginning and the engaging story. I’m so amazed that you can offer this as a free resource! Thank you so much!!!!! The new app is amazing and will be fun for my 4 and 2 year old to have a Saint picture when they want to pick the story, and I can’t wait to start reading the Saint of the day to them each morning! P.S. My daughter is begging for a story about St. Lucy!!!

My son LOVES listening to Saint Stories for Kids by Shinning Light Dolls! He will often request a specific Saint story or the Halloween episodes, but it’s hard to scroll through Apple or Spotify to find a specific story especially if I’m pressed for time. I’m looking forward to both using the search function to find specific episode quickly and using the Saint of the Day and calendar!! On each saints page on the Saint of the day, I’d love to see a link to their podcast or even a note at the bottom if they have one in the collection like Saint Gudula on 1/08. I’d also love to be able to find themed podcasts (like Halloween and Christmas) in either a podcast “collection” or to come up when searching Christmas or Halloween. Thanks for this awesome app and resource!!!

I am so glad these excellent stories have finally been consolidated into an easy to use app. The podcast episode search tool is exactly what I need to make liturgical living more a part of our regular day. We love these stories so much!
