Caxton Currency Card

Do not touch!!! I opened an account a couple of months ago. I didn’t use it until recently and sent 3 payments from family , sent to me for my dads 80th birthday celebration My account was instantly frozen when I tried to access the money. Absolute thieves, and a joke. Do not engage with this company

Great card great rate easy to use

Easy to use and to top up, but rates are worse than high street so you’re definitely paying for the convenience.

This is a must have card in your possession. It makes life so much easier when abroad, the loading of multiple currencies makes life so much easier.

Simply the Best

I like the freedom of my preloaded card , I have had Caxton for some years now and haven’t as yet been let down in any country I have used it in . If I had one tiny complaint it would be the fact that I can only add multiples of fifty pounds at one time, I know that I would sometimes like to put in twenty , thirty or forty and the fifty minimum is restricting. I believe that more young people like my son and nephews ( who range from in years from eighteen to twenty seven ) would enjoy using a Caxton card if they could lodge smaller amounts. However as I said it is a tiny observation.

The app just shows a balance but doesn’t seem to report any transactions, so I have to log in to the Caxton web site to see entries. Confusing because it means I’m not sure if the card balance in the app includes or excludes pending transactions that *do* appear on the web site.

Card declined 3 times on account at differentvplaces. Spent hours with Caxton trying to sort. Their error and do not know why??? Am praying now fixed???

Caxton need to update its systems to reflect current spending and be able to produce a comprehensive statement on balance and expenditure as your competitors do. I am a loyal long term user and shareholder but this is an area you should improve on.
