The CBS WEATHER app is / was intuitive and effective. CBS has chosen to no longer support it. The alternative CBS NEWS app is awful. We need clear LOCAL weather data with radar. BRING BACK THE WEATHER APP NOW!
Horrible update. Before updating description said enhanced viewing bug fixes. This was a lie by CBS. Now when traveling I can no longer see CBS live feeds. In the future CBS should be more transparent in what their updates are really doing not cheating and honoring CBS viewers.
I live in Port St. Lucie Florida. I watch channel 12 CBS news. It’s disturbing to see how it seems like they’re always campaigning for Trump. I know this is a Republican state but I always thought CBS News was a democratic channel. I don’t understand why they’re always putting things on there about Trump, it’s disturbing to me as being a Democrat because a lot of what he says right now, is to put fear and everybody , bothers me. I understand that you cover the news and that’s what it’s all about but it really bothers me that I hear so much about him on our news and I don’t hear that much about our Democrats at all of what they say because Trump is just divided our country made us unstable and put fear and everything he says, so why would you cover his lies?

You need to screen the ads on your app. They are offensive, sexist and insulting to women. I’m referring to temu.
When I can’t sleep I will read the news BUT now a video plays WITH SOUND when I open the cbs app! It wakes up my husband because it’s impossible to mute it in time. Come on! It’s bad enough people listen on speaker in public! Get rid of auto play with sound! (Glad to see I’m not the only one complaining about it on the app reviews )
This app was made to try to force you into CBS national news instead of the local affiliate. I use such apps for local news only. I won’t use this again - I’ll use my local ABC app.
Default of app plays audio and visual. This can be manually stopped to search and read other stories, but returning to main page restarts play. There is no obvious and easy way to stop this intrusive experience. I recently deleted ABC News. Years ago deleted CNN. Likely will delete CBS soon. I can read a whole lot faster than audio and I can random access news I want to know instead of being abused with serial articles and news I am not interested in. If I wanted to be forced to hear programmed news I would watch TV and cable news.
