Welcome to Chinese Evangelical Church of Portland.
Chinese Evangelical Church of Portland provides worship services to the local Chinese families and communities. We are located in the city of Hillsboro in the west of Portland, Oregon.
Our Mission: To know Jesus and to make him known, in Portland and beyond.
Our Vision: To be a community of Christ-followers on a mission to know Jesus and to make him known. As an Asian-American expression of Christ's Church, we are intentionally engaging our international neighbors to provide a foretaste of heaven's multicultural reality.
Strategy: We believe that the gospel transforms us holistically: heart, head, and hands. To that end, we engage the heart through Sunday worship gatherings that center on singing, preaching, and The Lord’s Table. We engage the head through Sunday classes so that we can grow in our knowledge of God. And we engage the hands as we foster fellowship, discipleship, and mission by offering weekly home-based small groups that explore Scripture and serve together.
