CellarTracker: Wine Tracking

I like the new visual aspects of the iPhone version, and the ability to quickly access menus with the buttons on the home page. It also looks like “moving” a bottle between locations is more intuitive. But need an iPad version! Right now it’s just the phone layout zoomed in. I do a lot of my cellar management on the iPad.

This is the best cellar management SW out there!

Too much navigation to get the information I'm looking for. I'm going to the web version far more often than I used to.

As a long time CellarTracker user (since 2008), this mobile version allows easy access to my library and all wines in the database. The UI is much quicker to load and presents the data in a more flexible manner. Most tasks are easier to find and initiate. Overall a huge improvement. I’d give it a solid 97 points on the Parker scale.

I was a very early adopter of this app after reading about it on the weekly WSJ wine page. It is very customizable so each user can create, update, highlight, share and rate any wine that they own, drink, see, and want to comment on. I also had a chance to be a Beta tester for the latest version and I can honestly say that the app designers took our collective comments seriously. You can also share your wine profile with other members; join professional wine organizations and groups, see the valuation trends and read 10s of thousands of reviews. Download and enjoy.

I use this on my iPad, the new version seems to only support iPhone mode.

I like the sleek modern style. It took me a while to find my tasting notes - now called reviews - in my profile. But I can’t search that list. I like to go back and see my notes to know if I should purchase the label/variety again. They send to be just listed in the order I wrote them. Please help!

Fantastic app. I initially got it many years ago to avoid losing track of wines in my house, and it is great for that purpose, especially if you get a bar code printer. Updating inventory is fast and simple. The app has a good feature that recommends which wines should be consumed next. But what I really love are the community tasting notes - they are simply an unmatched source of information on how wines are developing in the bottle and when to drink them. I find the notes to be more accurate overall than the pro reviews, especially on when to drink the wines.

The new version has great new improvements and what really like is they continue to improve as they go. Very user friendly.

I’ve been a long time user and the new application is what I’ve been waiting for. Huge improvement and I’m using the phone application more than the web version. Love it!
