I am so frustrated. I paid for the app/full access. When I open the app, I just get a blank white page and can’t access anything in the app.

App separate from the book?

I love the app but I don’t understand why I have to pay for it if I have purchased the book. The code supplied by the book only links to questions online. I would love if they both linked together.

Not Good Quality

ErBear46 on

The content includes several grammatical and content errors. For example, “select all that apply” in the stem with only four choices and no ability to select more than one answer. Not to mention the countless misspellings, inaccurate abbreviations, and missing words. There are only 10 questions per chapter and more than half of them don’t load. Of the ones that do load (and don’t contain errors), they’re only written at the knowledge/understanding level. I expect much better from a quizzing resource about education and assessment practices- the irony! Plus when you build a custom quiz, it doesn’t account for the questions you’ve already answered. Buyer beware! I would recommend putting your money towards a valid, reliable resource that is appropriately written and actually works.

Weak and fragile. Low quality for the high price.

I this is my review after one week of using it. I may post more findings here if anything changes when I use it more. This what I see so far. I am responsible for everything I say here. I will say the same in my next review if the publisher doesn’t show his efforts in improving the quality. They put only ten questions for each chapter if you pay $60 plus $5 in tax. I downloaded it recently I started answering questions the questions seem to be very superficial and the rationales are very fragile the price is tremendously high. This app scammed me when I signed up for standard for $60 when I tried to switch to premium they are penalizing me to pay more money instead of rewarding me for switching from the standard to premium. They never announced that prior to paying for the standard. Here’s what I thought: I don’t know what was the developers thinking when they make this program or what were the publishers thinking when they made this rule to charge us educators more money for switching to the premium than buying the premium from the beginning. I was hoping they think smart and they do it in an affordable way and instead of charging me more money for switching from standard to premium just try to make it an offer and make it appealing for people to use to the premium. I need more questions and I know I will find more questions in the premium but being penalized by paying extra $10. for example the standard cost is $60 the premium cost is $80 if you go from standard to premium they are asking me to pay $90 plus taxes. because I’m switching from the standard to premium that is ridiculous. I was just using it because I already paid for it. It doesn’t meet my expectations thinking that I will get high quality for the high value. I don’t see any respect or support to the health care professionals or the nurses like us on the front line. I didn’t see any offers to lower the price during this tough time. I am waiting. Blessings.

I did study and pass exam, but I used much more than this app. I used recommended review book from NLN, nearing comprehensive exam of PhD, never worked a day as educator in a classroom but have read majority of books or articles recommended. There are many spelling or grammatical errors that can be fixed with a simple spellcheck or grammatical review. Some of the review questions were oddly written or the rationale did not actually provide a rationale. I honestly think the education is what prepared me more for the exam, but having a book handy on my phone was helpful when on the go for quick review.

Love this app!! If you are preparing for the CNE, I highly recommend it. I love how it incorporates colors and you can tag the questions as didn’t, somewhat, or know. It is a great visual. It looks and feels engaging. I am enjoying learning using this app.

Great App with lots of questions and rationales. Chapter reviews, broken down into subject areas, authors listed as well as contributors. I feel confident going into the test!

Can’t access the practice tests

I have two apps from this company (TCRN and CNE) both freeze each time I try to access the practice exams which is what I purchased the app for. Very disappointed and out a significant amount of money for premium versions.

Great review!
