Here today, gone tomorrow!

I finally got tap to pay to work back in February for an event i was at. Yesterday i tried to take a tap to pay payment only to be notified that it was not available!!!

Saved the day

Card machine goes down, or already cashed up for the day, this has been great!

Looks promising…but falls at the first hurdle

Good luck even getting past the login stage. When you try to connect your Stripe account, you need the 6 digit verification code from authenticator app. But when you open that up and get your code…when you reopen the app, you’ve been logged out. You have to put in your app pin, click connect to Stripe, type your email address on again…type your password in again THEN enter the verification code. By which time it has invalidated/timed out. Very poorly thought out and poor UX makes me nervous about using it to charge my customers.

A bit pants

Set up was a nightmare, when I go to Authenticator to get the number, I have to log in all my details again and by the time I do that the auth number is out of time. Managed to log in using 2 phones, but a lack of product set up or tax setting means I won’t be using this app. Shame, the rates good.

Fantastic and useful app

A great app that notifies us of bookings/payments so we don’t need to manually check every email that comes through. Also easy to take payments in person using the app. Wouldn’t be without it.
