CheckPlease Lite - Tip Calculator

Very small and simple app, but very useful.

I bought the Classic version so I would not have to see ads. It’s not available anymore but I do see the Lite version is still in the App Store and it addresses feedback I should have submitted long ago. I’m going to give it a shot! I would gladly pay for an updated Classic version as well! Can’t say enough about it!

Have used this App for years snd have nfver been disappointed. It’s so easy to use.

For an old app, this works quite well on iOS 15. Of all the tip calcs I've seen out there, this one is the cleanest one I've come across, and best of all, no ads. Not bad an app that hasn't been updated in roughly six years.

This Tip Calculator is the best thing since the sliced bread.

This app has not been updated for iOS 14.5 so it will not run.

I used this handy tip calculator so much I recommended it to everyone when I used it. I was very sad when I tried opening it up after upgrading my phone a year ago. The app said the version was not compatible and when I went to the App Store there were no updates for it. It asked if I wanted to delete the app since no updates were available but I said no I wanted to keep it in hopes that one day the company might decide to update it. So from time to time I would open it up but every time I did it would not open. Until a glorious day, yesterday 8/19/19 I was out for lunch and needed to use a tip calculator. Knowing that this app wouldn’t open like it had done so before I did my usual routine opening up the app with very little enthusiasm and low and behold I see the app open. No knowing if it was too good to be true I stood in shock for a minute. Just looking at the screen thinking ok it’s gonna close automatically and give me an error message. But No! It stayed open. Still shocked I plugged in my numbers and tip percentage and it work, by George it works! There are no ads like before just the simple calc. I recently updated my iOS to 12.4 not sure if that did the trick or the company updated the software finally. What ever the case maybe the gods are shining bright on me today!! Hopefully you guys are able to download this app as it is simple to use but extremely effective!

I’ve been using this app for years, almost to the point where I can’t calculate tips in my head, but that’s a different story. If you don’t believe its accuracy, just enter the correct sales tax amount and look at your receipt and compare subtotal, tax and check total. Mine is always spot on. Some places will give you a suggested tip amount, which in my experience tends to be slightly higher. Splitting a check with friends is a breeze.

Has all the features. Select percentage. Set number to split. Round / Down. Include tax or not. Show detail. No ads!
