Chess for Kids Reviews

This is the best chess app.

ChessKid is great for beginners. I truly recommend it. Everyone should have if they want to learn chess. It’s great educational and I play with it every day. It’s so fun. I can’t believe all the detail. They’ve put the bots. It’s just so good. All people who love a chess and a beginner should have this no matter what ChessKid is. The best chess app I have ever found. I am excited and just helped me improve so much that I even came first in an underrated local chest tournament.

Bug in “how to Castle”

RedEvenStudent on

Australia

My 6 years old son really liked the chess lessons and enjoyed taking tests. Unfortunately, in “how to castle” there was a question that was impossible to solve. I tried all possible moves to no avail. I was furious that why the question in lesson 13 is so hard that even I could not solve it. But then I realised there was no right answer. I shared the question with AI and the answer was the one I guessed, but the app didn’t accept it. And why the app design is so strict? It’s impossible to move up and see other lessons without answering a question! Answers should be recorded somewhere or it should give the right answer after a couple of tries. This is educational for God sake not an entry test for championship. Then I contacted ChessKid and chatted with a Bot. The Bot told me someone will email me. I didn’t receive any emails but just now after 3 days I realised someone replied to my chat and asked for a screenshot. Did ChessKid expect me to be online all the time? So there is a bug that doesn’t allow paid members to use the lessons and there is no email to contact! I asked for a refund due to the app not working as I expected, but my son is now disappointed. He’s really talented in chess and loves ChessKid. I told him I will leave a review and if they fix it, I will purchase it again Update: ChessKid reached out to me and I re-purchased the app and gave them a five star. Thanks for making those entertaining classes. I am very grateful.

I thought I never win!!!!
