Cool app but We should get back what we bet
I have this app for almost 3 years now it’s very convenient I’m passionate about chess but I don’t really have people to play with. With this app I have people all over the world to play with.
Hello, I have been enjoying this platform for years. Recently, I removed this app as I wanted to reduce screentime. However, I want to login to my chess online+ account and cannot find my account. I signed up using facebook. While I can start a new account, I’d love to get my old account back. I tried to look for the developers’ email/ support center. But every link redirects to chess online+ web version.
Been enjoyable playing online. The only app that I can say works as it should.
Exactly
Has a feature called mistake preventer where you can buy back bad moves before they get placed
Let’s go
Worst chess app I’ve ever opened.
This app is good for casual online chess buts its bugs never seem to be addressed. It’s like the developer created it then just dropped maintenance for it. For example…. If you press and hold the Spin button for 5 seconds, it will not just register a single button tap. Rather, it will auto-repeat hundreds of button taps. The result is that it will eat through all of your precious tokens at 20 coins a pop because it thinks you are requesting dozens and dozens of non-free spins. I used to be an app coder and this is a rookie mistake to allow a long tap to register as a multi-tap event. There is a similar token stealing issue if you click the challenge button. As soon as you click that button it will deduct your standard betting amount of coins BEFORE your game is auto selected. After which it brings you back to the list of potential games. In that moment before a challenger is matched and the game starts, if you accidentally press the New Game button again, it will deduct yet another set of coins and IT WONT RETURN the previous coins for the last unplayed (pending) game. Repeat this sequence and it will eat all your tokens without you even playing any opponents. It’s yet another trivial coding mistake to not disable the New Game button when another (paid for) game is already pending but no opponent has been chosen (or no opponent has chosen you). Another big gripe is that during gameplay there is no way to see previous moves until the end of the game. This is a huge problem because it doesn’t let you see the piece your opponent just captured of you happened to look away, or let you rewind the last few moves to think about future strategy. Most other online chess games have this feature, which I would consider mandatory. Yet another necessary but missing feature is this app really needs is a big VISUAL indicator at the 1 min countdown point. It’s NOT enough to show a tiny red outline around the tiny countdown clock or to play a sound at that crucial moment reminding players they have one minute left to try to win the game, because many people play with silent mode switch turned on. So there are no sounds. Not to mention anyone who is hearing impaired. I would strongly recommend flashing a big red glowing border around the entire board when the clock reaches one minute. I can’t tell you how many games I’ve lost because of time with no noticeable indication I had 60 seconds left. And these are just my own bugs and missing features. Scan some of the commen
