Chicago Tribune Reviews

No other regions???

Raviniavisitor on

United States

So, using the app, the only region/area to view is city??? Only way to look at my region/area of interest is going from link in daily email or going into web browser. Just not smart and looks like nobody did proper use case testing

App Crashes Constantly

Now Know Better on

United States

Used to work well. Now it crashes every time I try to open it. Not a very good app.

Poor since update

S-W. on

United States

I did a mandatory update and now can’t use the app as a subscriber. May just cancel.

Access to the paper from the app

Ticked reader on

United States

Why, after years of subscribing to the e- paper can I not access the paper. It does not even give me a place to enter my password. This idiocy has been going on all week. PLEASE FIX THIS!!!!

Does not recognize paid subscription

Maven Me on

United States

The app keeps asking me to subscribe, even though we have a paid subscription. I cannot get past the subscription “try free for a month page” using the app. I am able to read the newspaper edition through an Internet browser, meaning the app is dysfunctional.

Too Political

Dr. Gluebag on

United States

News is slanted and WOKE. Even political news is shown on the Obits page.

Latest update broke e-edition access

QueryMan13 on

United States

Don’t you do any testing before you release updates? I’ve lost count of the times you’ve broken the e-edition link. I’m signed in using the app fine but try to access CHICAGO TRIBUNE on the sections tab and you say I’m not a subscriber. Only option is to sign up, not even a sign in link. The last time you broke it, there was a sign in link which was a royal pain, but at least I could read the paper. With your reduced news coverage you shouldn’t be giving a 25+ year subscriber a new reason to cancel.

How about listing ALL the sections?

GloriaCue on

United States

I just don’t get why the “Sections” listings are so terribly incomplete… and getting worse. Arts? Asking Eric? Good luck. No comics in the app? Why? And seriously, why does the main page show the same tiresome list of photos day after day, week after week? Is there no “news” that could be more prominently featured?

Junk

Secretchipmonk on

United States

Every time the app updates it no longer allows you to view the full paper. Stay away from this awful app!

significant bugs

Video bugs on

United States

This app continually makes it impossible to read articles by having videos pop up and not close. For a subscription you already have to pay for it is really a subpar experience
