Description

Welcome to the CHILD: Dena’ina, Lake Iliamna Yup'ik and Alutiiq (Sugt’stun) language app. This app was created to facilitate a basic learning of nouns in each of the three languages. The project was a collaboration with the CHILD Grant Partnership (Bristol Bay Borough, Chugach, and Lake & Peninsula School Districts) with funding from the US Department of Education, Office of Indian Affairs.

This unit was well presented. It was easy to navigate and understand. It was very interesting to hear the different dialects for the same word. I would recommend it to all teachers to help their students realize the uniqueness of languages.
