Love it! but wish it was apple watch compatible I’d use it when I’m outside working out and don’t carry my phone.
Set timer to chime at intervals for a certain amount of time. Example: Chime every minute for five minutes. It would be even greater to be able to set different intervals. Chime at 1 min and then after 2 mins and the 1.5 mins, etc.
I like this App but at some point it must have changed bc unless I leave it open and onscreen it sets the timer back to the start, not running. So on a run w set chime to alternate walking and running, it works great until I switch screens to see a text or change the music. Once I do that, the chimes stop coming, even w it open in the background, and when I get back to that screen I have to start it all over. Totally messes up the timing.
I use these everyday. My iPad timer and alarm on the Apple clock app are always set on the same daily schedule, so these chimes are great for other matters. They work perfectly.
It's a great repeating timer... set it for every 20 minutes for 3 hours or every 3 minutes for 14 hours... whatever you need. No resetting, or worse, no FORGETTING to reset. I use it when I'm reading or playing a game to remind myself to get up and move occasionally. ***update a couple of years later: I STILL love it. Best timer of all time! Thank you so much for making this.
I have used chimes in the past to complete timely tasks. Right now I’m using the computer more and need to get up and move every 45 minutes. It’s important to keep me circulation going. I do some leg lifts, marching and arm swirls just to engage my whole body. Also I do some gentle neck exercises. Thanks to chimes it’s a good reminder method!
I wanted a chime to remind me to do something every 2 hours - I couldn't get this thing to ever do it more than once. I would have tried harder to figure it out, but it also doesn't have a schedule - so even if it did work, it would be chilling in the middle of the night. Poor interface too. All around bad.
This app is perfect for meditating! I prefer to meditate without any technological “guide” and wanted a simple non-jarring prompt when the session was over that did not require any engagement from me. This app works perfectly! Thank you! : )
I wanted something I could hear "right out of the box." I was looking for a repeating chime so as to remind me to step away from the computer, stand up, etc. I'm deaf in the high frequency tones and without hearing aids or earphones or holding my phone literally right in my ear all day, I can not hear the tone. I barely hear some of the three "triangle" tone pieces even with holding phone right inside my "good" ear. (I hear nothing in my bad ear.). I did hear from the developer and he said I could test the other options by a complicated set of directions and I only today was able to go back and re-read and figure it out. I could hear a few of those samples, but they are all fairly quiet...AND I will have to pay extra to compensate for the deafness that is not "my fault" nor "his fault". So this is one I will delete for now, as I ended up buying a Westminster Chime app. But if someone really needs all the extra pomodoro reminder chimes, this would be a better app then the one I got (just 4 chimes an hour , 15 minutes each, and it chimes the hour at top of the hour.).
