Pure propaganda. I don’t imagine that the writers of this fiction actually believe what they write rather they just do what the CCP tells them to do. Almost qualifies as comedy. It helps you realise how deluded Chinese media and the CCP actually are.

This remains a great source of News about China and China’s view of the world. It is not an independent news source and its editorial policy is strongly pro China, as you would expect. The new version simplified the layout but makes navigation much harder and so it is now much harder to find the articles that interest me. There is now a bilingual section that is good for those studying Chinese, but they rarely use Chinese characters in main news stories. This would be helpful for understanding names etc.

So bias and mostly fake news. Stick to the BBC for your news.

Yes, I like this Ap. Lots of interesting news about the most populous nation. I think it is a sensible policy for we westerners to familiarise ourselves with a culture which is rapidly gaining world prominence. This Ap does a good job, but must try harder to empathise with western views too.

Easy navigation. Summaries only - no in depth features.

This a great app no matter what your interests are in china, has something for everyone very informative and at times highly entertaining . I recommend it to everyone
